Who We Are

The ARCH Operates under the registered name of the International Avenue Arts and Culture Centre (IAACC). We are a non-profit, charitable organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

Duane Lebo | Director
Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of ED from the University of Calgary, teaching in the Calgary Board of Education and abroad for 24 years. History as adjudicator, clinician, performer and guest conductor. November 2011 first musical performed in Mt. Maunganui, New Zealand with great reviews. Current position: Learning Leader of Fine and Performing Arts at Forest Lawn High School

Richard Lee | Director
Professional Engineer and Businessman; National and International connections in oil/ gas industry; VP- SOL Tech Projects Inc

Stephen Yuen | Director
Over 20 years of accounting and financial management experience in the oil and gas, manufacturing and merchant banking business. Mr. Yuen holds a Bachelors Degree in Business from McMaster University and is a member of the Association of Certified General Accountants of Alberta and Canada.

Judy Lawrence | Executive Director
BFA, MFA; over 30 years experience in the arts and culture sector. She has worked in leadership positions with GlobalFest/One World Festival, Calgary Opera, Alberta Jubilee Auditoria Society, Alberta Theatre Projects, Asian Heritage Foundation, Calgary Arts Development Authority, and was executive director for the world renowned International Fringe Festival in Edmonton.

Jose Duque | CMO Music Lead
Studied at the Simon Bolivar Conservatory Venezuela and the Universidad de Los Andes. He worked for 13 years in the Children and Youth Orchestras in Venezuela and played clarinet at the Mérida Symphonic Orchestra in Mérida City. His goal is to give to children and youth of low-income families the opportunity to learn, make and share music

Kari McQueen | Finance Manager

BFA; over 20 years experience in the cultural sector in a variety of roles including non-profit management, event planning, granting, art education and curatorial programming. She co-founded the Calgary Underground Film Festival (CUFF), the Mountain Standard Time Performative Art Festival Society (M:ST) and is a media and visual artist who has screened and exhibited internationally.
