IAACC strives to provide opportunities for all artists, promotion of the arts and bring a thriving arts community to East Calgary.

When you support International Avenue Arts and Culture Community (IAACC) you are helping to build a thriving arts community in East Calgary by providing opportunities for all artists to participate in art initiatives within the community.

Ways to Support the Arts Community & IAACC

Artists:
  • Buy from Artists – this not only supports artists, it supports their families and the local art community here in East Calgary and Calgary as a whole.
  • Share your excitment about an artist and their work on your socials, with friends, family and colleagues.
  • Attend an Artist In Residency Exhibit & Artist Talk the next one is June 24, 2026. Free, Open to the community.
  • Attend a workshop lead & coordinated by local artist; learn new artistic skills
  • Attend a community event such as ArtScape Art Show, LanternFest, Art Walk or Community Multicultural Showcase
IAACC:
  • Donate to IAACC through the Roger’s Birdies for Kids Program sponsored by Altalink. Through this program, donations will be matched up to 50%, stretching your donation even further to support community family programming, youth mentorships and learning opportunities. Opportunity ends August 31, 2026. Tax receipts will be issued by Birdies for Kids.
  • Donate art pieces or gently used art supplies to IAACC’s pop up thrift store. Funds raised to to support IAACC’s programming and operations.
  • Become a Member – Supporting arts & cultural programming in Greater Forest Lawn. Membership is $10. Learn more HERE
  • Attend programs– help strengthen programs by attending and bringing others. Programs include: workshops, Art Hives, Artist In Residency & Exhibit, Community Events.
  • Attend IAACC’s 25th Anniversary Gala – being held November 13, 2026. Stay tuned for more details!

Bottle Donations

You can now donate your recycleable beverage containers to IAACC via Skip the Depot. They will pick up your bottles and give the proceeds to our organization. https://app.skipthedepot.com/iaacc
